Reinforcing the Strength of Our Community
"No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another." Charles Dickens
Committed and Determined
Founded in Colorado Springs, the San Miguel Fund provides emergency assistance and educational support to individuals and families who are working hard yet struggling to keep up with the rising cost of living. As health care, housing, food, and transportation costs continue to climb, too many households in our community live one unexpected expense—a car repair, a medical bill, a rent increase—away from crisis.
For these neighbors, a temporary setback can quickly spiral into job loss, eviction, or the inability to provide basic needs for their families. At the same time, many capable and motivated individuals face barriers to higher education, limiting their opportunity for long-term economic stability. The San Miguel Fund steps in at these critical moments, filling the gaps when traditional systems fall short.
By supporting those in the Pikes Peak Region who are most vulnerable, the San Miguel Fund helps stabilize families, open doors to opportunity, and strengthen the fabric of our entire community—because when people have the support they need to get through today, we all thrive tomorrow.
